Contaminated Water Treatment

From sampling to end of project, Veolia’s water remediation services ensure safe and sustainable management of contaminant-impacted water across a range of industries.

Delivering end-to-end water treatment services

Offering both on-site and off-site treatment options to assist you with your specific water treatment needs, Veolia tailors water treatment solutions to contaminant and water characteristics to develop the best environmental and innovative solution. We recognise that the source and fate of the water will inform the best treatment and management options, and account for these factors when developing the most sustainable solution for each site.

Prioritising safe and effective water treatment

From treating and managing closed-loop fire training systems to ensuring water meets ecological and national safety standards, our team can develop the specific treatment path to meet your objectives.

Our onsite water treatment options

Whether in an urban setting with traditional power supply or remote without existing electrical infrastructure, we have a solution for you.

We offer a range of treatment options that can be deployed onsite, from fully-containerised mobile systems to permanent installations. Our water treatment solutions can be mobilised and fitted with solar energy systems, offering an independent energy solution while decreasing the project's carbon footprint and operational costs.

Veolia can supply a range of temporary water storage solutions ranging from 1,000L IBC and 10,000L ISO containers, to 80,000L frac tanks.

Our offsite water treatment facilities

Utilising Veolia’s multifaceted environmental services offerings, we can provide storage, transport, and off-site treatment at our fixed facilities. Our teams manage compliance for interstate relocation of contaminated water to our various facilities in Australia.

Using the most up-to-date processing technologies, Veolia’s Kilburn treatment plant treats the chemical and physical properties of liquid and hazardous waste so it can either be reused, or safely released to landfill or via wastewater system.

Our Darwin depot plays an integral role within the provision of a sustainable solution for the Northern Territory’s waste and recycling needs, and comprises several key sustainable and innovative elements in areas such as wastewater treatment, package waste recycling, and autoclaving treatment.

Veolia’s Townsville site provides a regional depot for Veolia’s industrial service operations in the northern, central, and southern regions of Queensland.
